How will I come to know that my Love is Halal or Haram ?
Dear Sister,
Love is a kind of feeling and feeling is controlled by Allah subhaan wa Ta'ala. If you feel affection or inclination towards someone. It is not wrong unless and until it turns wrong.
As Allah's Messenger sallalahu alaihi wa sallam has taught us,
That virtue is what is a kind disposition & Vice is what that RANKLES IN YOUR HEART & MIND And you DISAPPROVE of its BEING KNOWN TO THE PEOPLE. " (Source- Sahih Muslim).
Now Consider, if you only feel love for someone bt dont give it expression that is not wrong, but the time your love promotes you to do something that is prohibited by Islam is absolutely wrong. As involving in Romantic gossip, dating, kissing, hugging or the worst making Physical relationship.
and there would be no one on this earth who would like these things to be known to their own parents, relatives, friends etc. Except the MOST WRECHED BOY OR GIRL.
